Dr Xiuzhi (‘Susie’) graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and trained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health. Drawn to country practice, she made the sea change to Port Fairy, where she spent six years as a GP and gained experience across the full spectrum of family medicine. In 2021 she settled on the Bellarine Peninsula with her family.
Dr Xiuzhi holds additional diplomas in Child Health and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with particular interests in chronic disease management, paediatrics, women’s health and pregnancy care. She takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, working with patients to help them achieve their best health and quality of life. Outside work, she enjoys running, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
