Xiuzhi was drawn to country practice and made the seachange to Port Fairy where she trained and worked as a GP for six years. She gained experience here in the full spectrum of family medicine including shared obstetric care, acute inpatient care, minor procedures, aged care and palliative medicine. She has additional diplomas in Child Health and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr Xiuzhi (‘Susie’) graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011. She then went on to train at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health.
Dr Xiuzhi is also a medical educator and clinical lecturer for medical students and GP trainees. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a particular interest in chronic disease, pediatrics, women’s health and travel medicine. She is passionate about taking a holistic and caring approach to helping you live your best life.
Outside of work, she loves running, ocean swimming, hiking and reading.
