Jess has always had a special interest in women’s health and sexual and reproductive medicine which led to her to undertake additional training . She completed a Diploma in Obstetric care at the Geelong Hospital and undertook a specialist registrar rotation at Family Planning Victoria as part of her specialist training.
Book an appointmentOriginally from South Gippsland, Dr Jess completed her medical training in 2010 at Monash University and completed her medical internship at St Vincent’s Hospital before moving to Geelong to pursue a career in Family Medicine. She moved to Barwon Heads from Geelong in 2020 where she is now the co-director of Barwon Heads Family Practice.
Jess offers antenatal assessments, fertility advice, contraceptive treatment including IUD insertion (eg Mirena) and is registered with Barwon Health to offer Shared Pregnancy Care.
Along the road Jess has accrued additional qualifications in Child Health, Skin Cancer detection, Public Health and travel medicine. She is comfortable with all aspects of family medicine and happy to see patients of every age and gender.
While balancing a new business, clinical work and her young family Jess somehow finds time for her other passions such as sea swimming, skiing and running.
