Dr Jamie is a GP whose years of experience and knowledge are balanced with his caring and passionate approach to Family Medicine. Jamie has been a GP for more than 30 years and he will be seeing patients both in the clinic in Barwon Heads as well as offering a home visiting service to patients that want it.

Jamie graduated from the University of Tasmania and undertook his pre-specialist training in Melbourne. After spending a number of years serving with the Royal Australian Navy he spent time at the Monash Medical Centre completing rotations in Obstetrics, ED and ICU before undertaking specialist training in General Practice.
He has been a partner at Box Hill Medical Centre, clinical assistance in Obstetrics at St George’s in Kew and has spent 18 years at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern setting up various services including the Staff Clinic, the Hospital in the Home Unit and the Cabrini owned general practice in South Caulfield.
Prior joining Barwon Heads Family Practice, Jamie has been working for a home visiting service and will continue to provide a dedicated home visiting service to our patients along with the other doctors.
Jamie enjoys all areas of general practice and looks forward to helping you with whatever might arise.
Outside of work he is active in the local community, enjoys a round of golf and spending quality time with his wife, children and new grandchild.
