Anita is a psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She has worked extensively in both public and private sectors managing a broad range of mental health conditions from anxiety, stress, grief and depression to psychosis, substance abuse and crisis intervention.
Book an appointmentAnita completed her registration in Southwestern Victoria working in adult mental health services. She then worked rurally where she was involved in case management, crisis intervention and multidisciplinary team management of complex cases.
Latterly she was part of the team which set up Jigsaw (Youth Mental Health Services) in the Geelong and Corio locations where she worked as a senior clinician and clinical coordinator.
Anita transitioned to private practice in 2015 and has brought her extensive experience to the treatment of her own patients where she can work alongside her clients to achieve real and sustained change over time.
She works with her clients using a cognitive analytical approach, drawing on CBT principles, psychoeducation, general counselling and problem-solving.
Anita lives locally in the Barwon Heads area with her husband and 3 children. When away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, pursuing continuous improvement on the golf links or barracking for her beloved Carlton Blues!
